Former President Donald Trump is dropping the appeal of his effort to move his so-called hush money trial from New York state court to federal court.
A judge had previously denied the request in July, arguing that the payments to former adult film star Stormy Daniels and alleged subsequent falsification of business records were not related to Trump’s presidential duties.
The trial is slated to begin in New York City in March.
